Welcome to the official website of the Upsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated ®.

 

I am grateful and truly humbled to serve as the 2023 – 2024 president of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Upsilon Omega Chapter.  Upsilon Omega has a rich legacy of service and leadership.  As a chapter, we are committed to being “a service to all mankind.” 

 

On behalf of the members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated ®, Upsilon Omega Chapter, welcome to our website.  Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our chapter, programs and the community service projects we implement in the Richmond metropolitan area. 

 

For nearly a century (97 years and counting), Upsilon Omega chapter has served and contributed to the Richmond community.  As we embark on nearly 100 years of service, we will continue cultivating, planning, and executing programs that benefit our community.  Under the leadership of our International President Danette Anthony Reed, Upsilon Omega is thrilled to implement the 2022-2026 International Program of “Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood”.  The international program has six initiatives: Strengthen Our Sisterhood, Empower Our Families, Build Our Economic Wealth, Enhance Our Environment, Advocate for Social Justice and Uplift Our Local Community.
